A ship in a harbor in southern Russia has been attacked by Ukrainian drones, writes Governor Veniamin Kondratjev in the Krasnodar region on the messaging service Telegram.
One person has been killed in the attack and several have been injured, according to the state Russian news agency Tass.
The Kerch Strait separates the Russian mainland from the Crimean Peninsula, annexed by Russia. The attacked harbor is located about a mile from the Kerch Bridge, which Ukraine sees as a symbol of Russia's illegal annexation of the peninsula in 2014.
Ukraine has attacked the Kerch Bridge several times since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Ukraine has not initially commented on the reports of the attack.
On Tuesday, Russian reports also emerged that another small village in the Ukrainian Donetsk region had been taken over by the country's military.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the forces have "liberated" the community of Ivano-Dar'ivka, about three miles northeast of Bakhmut.
