According to the Ukrainian security service SBU, long-range drones were sent, among other things, to attack a military airfield in Primorsko-Achtarsk in the Krasnodar region on the eastern side of the Azov Sea.
This caused a fire in a facility where Shahed drones built in Iran were stored, according to the SBU.
In addition, a company, Elektropribor, was attacked in the Penza region in southern Russia. The company manufactures, according to the SBU, military digital networks, aircraft equipment, armored vehicles, and ships.
According to the Russian governor of the region, a woman was killed and two more were injured as a result of a drone attack on a company. The governor does not mention what kind of company it is.
Fire in company building
Industries have also been attacked in Samara, which is located about 100 miles from the front lines in eastern Ukraine, according to local authorities. There, an elderly man is said to have been killed by falling drone parts.
The Russian border region of Rostov was also attacked with drones during the night. A fire is said to have broken out in a company building, and a guard is reported to have been killed, according to the governor, who does not provide further details about what kind of activity it is.
Eleven injured in Kharkiv
Russian authorities say they shot down 112 Ukrainian drones in eight Russian regions during the night to Saturday and on the Russian-annexed Ukrainian Crimean peninsula.
Ukraine says it shot down or knocked out 45 of the 53 drones and decoy drones Russia sent.
Eleven people were also injured in a Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.
The drone struck near an apartment building, and among the injured are a five-month-old baby and two boys, nine and ten years old, according to local police who are investigating the attack as a war crime.
Five people, two of them children, are being treated in hospital, according to local authorities.
