The world's most iconic rings – on the world's perhaps most famous building.
With 50 days to go until the summer Olympics in Paris, the Olympic rings are now in place on the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The rings, made of recycled French steel, are mounted on the southern side of the Eiffel Tower. Each ring is nine meters in diameter.
Few will see as much of the Eiffel Tower during the Olympics as David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig.
The beach volleyball tournament, where the Swedish duo is one of the gold favorites, will be held at the foot of the 330-meter-high building.
The Olympics will open on July 26.
