Just in time for the premiere of the new "Jönssonligan" film, a biography about the long-lived Swedish gang of thieves is being released. In "Jönssonligan – coups, explosives and camaraderie", journalist Linus Kuhlin writes about what has happened both in front of and behind the scenes in connection with the films.
Kuhlin writes, among other things, about the conflicts between Gösta Ekman and Ulf Brunnberg during the early films and also tells about an animated film on the theme that never materialized.
"When I was a child, I made small fanzines about Jönssonligan and in modern times, I have forced my friends to dress up as the gang at costume parties. So you can say that I have collected material throughout my entire life", says Linus Kuhlin in a press release.
The book is being released on November 28. The film "Jönssonligan is back" will have its cinema premiere on December 6.
