Donnez was the dance band of the year and the orchestra's 17-year-old guitarist Albin Fredriksson the musician of the year at the Guldklavengalan in Malung.

Albin Fredriksson has taken dance band-Sweden by storm. He is still in high school, but the 17-year-old is already a permanent member of the orchestra Donnez which became the big winners at the dance band gala Guldklaven.

I have not been in the industry for long, but I know it's a big prize. I'm incredibly grateful and happy to receive it, says Albin Fredriksson in SVT's "Morgonstudion".

Already as a 15-year-old, Albin Fredriksson became a member of the Scania dance band and thanks to the school's good memory, life as a professional musician can be combined with high school studies in Helsingborg.

The Guldklaven gala marks the start of the classic Dance Band Week in Malung and in addition to Donnez, several orchestras received awards. The legendary Streaplers' record "Alla som vet" became the album of the year, Lasse Lundberg in Blender was named singer of the year and "Nu lever jag min dröm" with Excess was voted song of the year. It is written by Anna Lingmark and Ida Winterhaven.

The jury's special prize went to Tony Irving, long-time jury chairman in "Let's dance" on TV4.
