The production company Banijay launched an investigation after receiving a total of 83 allegations from just over ten people against Gregg Wallace, who, among other things, has hosted "Masterchef" on BBC, the British equivalent of "Sveriges mästerkock".
This concerns events over a 20-year period; sexual comments, inappropriate jokes and bullying. Wallace is also said to have exposed himself and on one occasion touched someone against their will.
Even before the investigation was published, the BBC last week terminated all cooperation with Wallace and the TV company has apologized to all those involved. The BBC says in a statement that there are no plans to cooperate with Gregg Wallace again.
Wallace has denied all allegations and said he was hired precisely for his "rough jargon" and that it is now seen as a problem in a "polished world".
