Refused is doing their very last Sweden gig at Way Out West in Gothenburg this summer. The hardcore band from Umeå announced last year that they are quitting for good and planned a farewell gig at Rosendal Garden Party in Stockholm – something that was cancelled when front figure Dennis Lyxzén suffered a heart attack.

Refused was formed in 1991 and split up during a US tour in 1998. In 2012, they went on a reunion tour and eventually released new music, the albums "Freedom" and "War music" and their last EP "The malignant fire" in 2020.

Corrected: In an earlier version, an incorrect statement appeared that it is the band's last gig overall.
