With Rebecca & Fiona as witches, Swedish Radio's drama project "The Stage – Shakespeare for All" gets off to a flying start. In the podcast series focusing on re-interpretations of Shakespeare's plays, "Macbeth" is the first out.
The script is written by Axel Winqvist and Mathilda von Essen, and the latter is also responsible for the direction. Otto Hargne plays Mac and Electra Hallman Lady Macbeth.
In 2025, it's time for "The Tempest", "Hamlet", "Romeo and Juliet" and "A Winter's Tale" with scripts by, among others, Nanna Olasdotter Hallberg, Elis Monteverde Burrau and Sara Stridsberg.
"Macbeth" is available for listening in Swedish Radio Play from November 18.
