After Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (The Moderate Party) traveled to Ankara to meet President Erdogan, the folder with partially secret information was left on a toilet at Arlanda. The material was found by a cleaner at the airport.

The Government Offices confirm the incident.

"The assessment made by the Government Offices' security department, after reviewing the material included in the folder, was that it did not contain security-classified information. Therefore, there was no reason to establish a damage assessment," writes security director Fredrik Agemark in a comment to TT.

The incident has not been reported to the Security Police.

On the other hand, parts of the folder's contents were covered by secrecy, according to DN, which is a broader concept.

In connection with foreign trips, a "folder" is often established with background material for ministers, and in the current case, it was a copy of the Prime Minister's folder that the official left behind. Often, the folder can contain background facts and talking points.

It is unclear how long the folder was missing. The employee has, according to DN, explained the mistake by saying that the work situation in connection with the trip was pressured.

TT has contacted Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, but his press secretary refers to the Government Offices.
