The police received an alarm about the incident at 23 o'clock on Saturday.

When we entered the villa, we found a shot person, deceased, says Andreas Hulting, duty officer at the police in Region South to TT.

A large police operation was initiated and some tracks have been secured.

Now it's about making a mapping of this man's life and what led to this incident, says the police's press spokesperson Sara Andersson.

No one is yet suspected of the incident. The police are continuing with interrogations.

Very many people have already been questioned in the case, says Sara Andersson.

Two weeks ago, a man in his 20s was lightly injured in a shooting in central Skurup. A man of the same age was arrested and detained shortly afterwards, suspected of being involved.

The police are investigating possible connections between the incidents.

Of course, we're looking into it, it's unusual with shootings in this small town. But I can't confirm anything now, says Andersson.

The incident has shaken the residents in the surrounding area.

You get a bit shaky in the legs. It's very unpleasant, says a woman to Aftonbladet.

She tells how she heard helicopters and then understood that something had happened.

Neighbours had heard two shots. They had heard that someone was standing in the bushes.
