A player on Rwanda's women's sitting volleyball team has gone missing, reports the British The Telegraph. The player, who was supposed to participate in the Paralympics in Paris, has been missing since August 20, the newspaper writes. The player disappeared in connection with a restaurant visit outside Paris.

Rwanda's Olympic Committee reported this on Tuesday and the disappearance is now being investigated by the French police.

The player was supposed to participate in the opening match played on Thursday. A match that Rwanda lost 0–3 to Brazil.
