Sweden's Defense Minister Pål Jonson is in Brazilian Natal for a meeting with his Brazilian counterpart, José Múcio, writes the government in a press release.
At the meeting, the two ministers will, among other things, discuss "cooperation on defense equipment" and the security policy situation.
Sweden and Brazil have previously cooperated on the fighter jet Jas Gripen, and a facility for development, final assembly, testing, and evaluation of Gripen is located in São Paulo.
Earlier in the week, Sveriges Radio Ekot reported that Colombia will buy Jas Gripen, but Saab has not confirmed the information.
