The Social Democratic Party, the Centre Party, the Green Party, and the Left Party gather around 52 percent of the voters in the latest measurement. The government with The Moderate Party, The Liberals, and the Christian Democrats, as well as the cooperation party the Sweden Democrats, has around 47 percent.
The opposition has had an advantage in public opinion since October 2022. However, the gap is narrowing. In May last year, it was 11 percentage points, now it is barely 6 percentage points.
Both The Liberals and the Christian Democrats are still struggling in public opinion and are close to the parliamentary threshold.
As things stand now, both The Liberals and the Christian Democrats will need support votes to clear the threshold, says Nicklas Källebring, opinion analyst at the market research company Ipsos, to DN.
The trend is that dissatisfaction with the government's work is decreasing. In October, 47 percent answered yes to the question of whether the government is doing a poor job. Now, the proportion is 41 percent.
The opinion poll is based on 1,616 interviews with eligible voters and was conducted by Ipsos during the period of 5-18 November.
