The Mareld wind farm, four miles off the coast of Lysekil, has received a yes from the County Administrative Board in Västra Götaland, which is recommending that the government grant Freja Offshore permission to build, according to a press release from the company.
When fully built, the offshore wind farm is expected to produce 12 TWh annually, according to the company.
Now it's up to the government to decide.
