One person has been crushed in a workplace accident in Borlänge.

Workplace Accident in Borlänge – One Person Trapped

The accident occurred in Kvarnsveden in northern Borlänge, according to Borlänge Tidning.

A man is said to have become trapped under a crane. He is now free from the crane, says police spokesperson Evelina Åström to TT.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently unclear.

I have no information about any potential injuries, says Evelina Åström.

According to SOS Alarm, one person has been taken to hospital by ambulance, reports Borlänge Tidning.

The rescue service, ambulance, and police are alerted to the scene. The alarm came in at 8.11.

Corrected: In an earlier version, it was incorrectly stated that the accident occurred at Northvolt. Northvolt sold the land in Kvarnsveden in June this year.
