Freeski star Henrik Harlaut has suffered a nasty injury after a heavy fall during a training session.
The 33-year-old's hip went out of joint and he had to be taken to hospital in an ambulance.
"I got a real smack yesterday and dislocated my hip. Luckily, I had awesome people nearby who could help me to the hospital, where they could put my hip back in place," Harlaut writes on his Instagram, and continues:
"I don't know how long I'll be out, but I'm already feeling much better, and I'm ready to fight, rest up, and get back on my skis as soon as I'm healthy.
Harlaut took bronze in the big air discipline at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2022, and took silver at the X-Games in Aspen earlier this year. In total, he has won eight golds and four silvers in the competition, most of them in big air.
After the Olympic bronze, the star took a break from the national team and the World Cup, but Harlaut rejoined the national team in June, ahead of the 2024/2025 season.
