20 seriously ill patients are to be evacuated from Gaza and receive care in Norway, announces the Norwegian immigration authorities, the Directorate of Immigration (UDI).
The authority has been tasked with granting entry permits to the patients. It is not known when they will arrive in Norway.
The instructions come from the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, writes UDI in a press release.
"Norway will primarily receive minors and women. Applications must be submitted to the Norwegian immigration authorities and the police for approval before the individuals in question are offered relocation to Norway", announces UDI.
