As expected, there will be no Armand Duplantis in the Swedish team for the Finnkampen, which takes place on 30-31 August in Helsinki. On the other hand, among others, Daniel Ståhl and Vanessa Kamga will participate.

"We took a double victory last year, but it was extremely even and we will meet a really revenge-hungry Finnish team in Helsinki", says athletics federation captain Kajsa Bergqvist in a press release.

The Finnkamp team consists of 110 active athletes, three in each event.

"The Finnkamp is our most prestigious international match and everyone in the team has a special relationship to it. It's very fun to compete in a team when you're used to competing individually. The team spirit that arises during the Finnkamp is unbeatable", says Kajsa Bergqvist.
