A nine-year-old Argentine boy has died after sustaining severe injuries in a crash in the Brazilian junior superbike series.
Lorenzo Somaschini crashed during training on the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo on Friday. According to the organiser, he received medical attention immediately and his condition stabilised, but when his condition worsened, he was rushed to the Albert Einstein hospital where he died on Tuesday.
