Last year, "Musikhjälpen" was broadcast from Växjö. In 2024, it's Sundsvall's turn to host the charity broadcast. From December 9-15, the now iconic glass booth will be located on Stora Torget in the city.

The engagement for "Musikhjälpen" is usually large in Sundsvall, so large that the student radio has broadcast from a local version of the glass booth for several years.

"Now it's time for us to give back to them and all others here who have engaged in the collection in various creative ways," says Karl-Johan Paulsson, project manager at SVT, in a press release.

This is the first time "Musikhjälpen" is broadcast from Sundsvall. The project is a collaboration between P3 Sveriges Radio, SVT, and Radiohjälpen. This year's theme will be revealed in October and the program hosts in mid-November.
