Massimiliano Allegri got the sack as manager of Juventus after the outburst in the cup final against Atalanta in May.
Now the Serie A club has found his replacement.
Thiago Motta has signed for three years.
"I'm really glad to start a new chapter at such a fantastic club as Juventus", he says.
Motta comes most recently from a strong season in Bologna, where he led the club to a fifth place in the table and Champions League play next season.
