Karin Mattsson has been elected to the board of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) board.
"It's good for the Swedish Ski Association as it gives us good opportunities to influence and contribute to the development of our sports," she says in a press release.
Mattsson is the chairman of the Swedish Ski Association and was previously chairman of the Swedish Sports Confederation (RF).
The election was held at the FIS Congress in Reykjavik.
