Hundreds of thousands of people are demonstrating outside the Israeli army's headquarters in Tel Aviv on Saturday evening, reports The Times of Israel.
The demonstrators are demanding that the government enter into an agreement with the terrorist-stamped Hamas about a ceasefire, so that those being held hostage in Gaza can come home.
Andrei Kozlov, who was one of the four hostages released in June, was one of the speakers.
I don't know why, but I'm blessed, I'm here. Hersh, Eden, Carmel, Ori, Almog, and Alex aren't, he said, referring to six hostages who were recently found dead in Gaza.
According to reports in Israeli media, as many as 500,000 people are participating in the protest.
Demonstrators have also gathered outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence in Jerusalem.
Protests are also being held in other parts of Israel, including Haifa and Kfar Saba.
