Iran will meet next week with diplomats from France, the United Kingdom and Germany for new talks about Tehran's nuclear energy program.
If no progress is made to limit the program, the European great powers threaten to reintroduce at the end of the month the sanctions against Iran that were lifted in 2015 in exchange for the country agreeing to restrictions on its nuclear energy program.
Time is running out, writes France's Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot on X.
The EU will also participate in the meeting, according to Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
The parties last met at Iran's consulate in Istanbul on July 25 and then simply agreed on continued talks.
