A man in his 30s was stabbed in the chest near Järntorget in central Gothenburg on Friday night, reports Gothenburg Post.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance. Initially, the injuries were serious but not life-threatening, says Sebastian Börjesson, duty officer at the police, to the newspaper.
The alarm was received by the police at around 01:30. The area has been cordoned off for technical investigation. The incident is being investigated as attempted murder, or alternatively aggravated assault. By 04:30, no one had been arrested.
