A 35-year-old man is being treated in hospital for serious injuries after being hit by a freight train in central Malmö, the police announce, also referring to the region's injury information.
The speed at which the freight train was moving when the accident occurred is unclear, writes Sydsvenskan.
The police are investigating the incident as a workplace accident.
The alarm was received at around 4 pm.
