A man in his 30s has been charged with causing a powerful explosion in Linnéstaden in Gothenburg, reports SVT Väst.
The man is alleged to have been commissioned to carry out the deed and he was shortly thereafter released from a debt, according to the indictment against him.
The explosion on Nordhemsgatan occurred at the beginning of November last year. A charge of dynamite had been placed in a gate to an apartment building.
No one was physically injured, but the explosion caused significant material damage to the gate.
The man, who denies the crime, is charged with gross general endangerment and gross offense against the law on flammable and explosive goods.
