The thunderstorm that has passed over central Norrland has created a lot of problems. Two houses have started burning after lightning struck in Skellefteå and Umeå, local media reports. No one is said to have been injured.
In Västerbotten, several thousand households have been without electricity, according to P4 Västerbotten and during the morning, the thunderstorm has caused hundreds of power outages in the Gällivare area, writes NSD.
The trains between Boden and Gällivare have been standing still since 07.30 after signal faults caused by the thunderstorm.

SMHI issued a warning for thunderstorms in central Norrland's coastal areas on Thursday evening and night towards Friday.
