The man was arrested on Wednesday evening somewhere in southern Sweden and was detained on Friday afternoon, says Chief Prosecutor Pär Andersson to TT. He is also suspected of serious drug offenses.
On Wednesday, a teenage boy born in 2007 was detained, suspected of murder and serious weapons offenses, as well as offenses against the law on explosive and flammable goods. The boy has admitted to weapons offenses but denies the other allegations, according to his lawyer.
It's not impossible that there are more people involved, but right now we don't have anyone else in custody, says Pär Andersson.
It was early on Monday morning that the victim, a man in his 50s, was hit by a shot that went through a window into the apartment where he was with his family.
The teenage boy was arrested shortly after the incident in southern Malmö. The police are investigating whether it was a so-called misfire.
After another day's work, we haven't been able to see that there's any threat against anyone living in that apartment, but we still can't determine what's behind this, said police spokesperson Nils Norling on Wednesday.
