Maja Nilsson is clear for the final in high jump at the EM in Rome. She advanced by clearing 1.89 meters in the second attempt.
Ellen Ekholm is eliminated, however. She fouled out at 1.85 meters.
Wiktor Petersson is clear for the final in shot put, which will be decided on Saturday evening. He had the fourth-best throw with 20.57 meters, which is his best result of the year. But there will be no final for Jesper Arbinge, who stopped at 18.97 meters in the qualification.
