American Cameron Young won with 22 under par.
Norén missed the start of the season due to injury, and needed to deliver high-class golf in several competitions to have a chance in the playoffs. Which he also did. But the 43-year-old needed to win the tournament in Greensboro to climb in the PGA ranking and secure a place in the playoffs.
There was no victory and Norén finished in 105th place in the ranking. The top 70 advance to the playoffs.
