During his career and his years as the host of "Bingolotto", "Loket" had large incomes but lived a simple life, with trotting horses as his great interest, according to his friends.

In his limited company, there were assets worth 12 million kronor, according to the annual report for 2023. After being the sole owner, he transferred the company to a friend at an extraordinary general meeting in October the same year.

He's a buddy of mine. He's really great, says Leif "Loket" Olsson in a previously unpublished SVT interview from November 2024.

He's a good friend I have, who helps me a lot. Right now, I'm sick and he's helping me with that.

Leif "Loket" Olsson lacked heirs. He became 82 years old.

Corrected: In an earlier version, the wrong year was stated for when the interview was held.
