It was a dramatic conclusion to the Swedish Championship for standard cars, which ended with Mikael Karlsson as champion in his Tesla.

"It feels completely incredible", says Karlsson in a press release.

Karlsson's teammate Tobias Brink, who led going into the weekend, crashed in the first race, which Karlsson won. He got the car in order for the final, but only finished seventh after a new incident. Brink finished third in the championship.

"I'm very happy for Micke, but of course disappointed for my own part", says Tobias Brink.

Jimmy Eriksson concluded the season with a win, with Karlsson in second place in the race, and thus also secured silver in the overall standings.
