Kane made his national team debut in 2015 and became the tenth player in history to reach the milestone of 100 national team matches for England on Tuesday evening.

It was noticed when the teams came out onto the pitch before the Nations League match against Finland, which managed to hold 0–0 for a bit into the second half.

Then Kane struck – twice. In the 57th minute, he headed in 1–0 high up, and in the 76th, he coolly finished off a rapid and beautiful English attack.

England played the match with black armbands, among other things to honor the memory of Sven-Göran Eriksson. "Svennis" – national team captain for England 2001–2006 – is one of several football profiles who have recently passed away. Now the Swede and Craig Shakespeare, Kevin Campbell, and Tommy Banks were hailed with a long applause before the match, while images of the quartet were displayed on the big screen.

After two matches, England, just like its next opponent Greece, has maximum six points in group 2 in the Nations League's B-division.
