On Sunday, the Tour de Ski will continue with a 15 km mass start. But then, Swedish Johanna Hagström will not be participating.

The Swede woke up sick with cold symptoms and is therefore forced to abandon the tour.

Johanna is going home and breaking off the Tour de Ski here and now, confirms national team doctor Rickard Noberius in a press release.

Thus, it was only one competition for Hagström, and it was not a fun one for either her or the rest of the Swedish participants.

Hagström was eliminated already in the quarterfinal of the initial sprint, after being involved in a crash. Linn Svahn was also eliminated early, after finishing third in her quarterfinal. The best of the Swedish women was Maja Dahlqvist, who made it to the final but finished last there.
