Israel has found and brought home the bodies of five Israeli citizens who were taken to Gaza after the terrorist attack on October 7, according to Israel's military (IDF).
According to the military, one of the persons was a woman who was taken hostage during the Hamas terrorist attack. The other four were soldiers who died in combat during the attack.
"Their bodies were kidnapped to the Gaza Strip", writes IDF on Telegram.
The bodies were found on Wednesday during an operation in the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, according to IDF.
In total, around 1,150 people fell victim to the terrorist attack on October 7, most of them civilians, and more than 200 people were taken hostage.
