The 23-year-old took Olympic gold on 1,500 meters in Tokyo in 2021 and is the reigning World Champion on 5,000 meters.
It's huge. It was fantastic to win in Tokyo, but it's almost bigger to win in Paris, he says.
Ingebrigtsen thus concluded a fine Norwegian Olympic day with gold in women's handball and gold in weightlifting through Solfrid Koanda.
On 5,000 meters, Ronald Kwemoi, Kenya, came second and Grant Fisher, USA, came third.
