When the six-week-long election in India reaches its conclusion, a total of 642 million Indians have voted, according to India's election chief Rajiv Kumar.
66.3 percent of all eligible Indians have chosen to cast their vote in the ballot box, which is slightly fewer than in the last general election in 2019.
The country's incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to win and secure a third term.
