Vour relation to home and nature is reinterpreted in several of this summer's art exhibitions. But there will also be queer art and giant aquariums. Here are nine tips to spot.

"Home's foundation", Havremagasinet, Boden.

What is a home? Architects, artists, and carpenters try to answer that here. With a starting point in eight fundamentals, including memory, room, care, and food.

8 June–29 September

"A place to call home", Alma Löv, Sunne.

The concept of a home changes in times of change, migration, and climate crisis. Here, ten artists interpret what a home is, but also homelessness and homesickness.

15 June–1 September

"Vargtimme", Jonatan Pihlgren, Göteborgs konsthall, Göteborg

Jonatan Pihlgren's expressive paintings are showcased in over 100 works. He depicts friends and everyday life, with surrealist infusions. Pihlgren himself emphasizes that he "tries to expand stories and perspectives on life".

4 May–5 September

She often uses modest materials for sculptures and handicrafts. The Fredrik Roos scholarship holder Frida Peterson shows the possibilities of sculpture at Artipelag.

17 May–7 July

"Ilon Wiklands bildvärldar", Göteborgs konstmuseum, Göteborg

4 May–3 November

"Vanishing point" by Hans Op de Beeck, Nordiska akvarellmuseet, Tjörn.

26 May–22 September

Vaginal Davis, Moderna Museet and Nationalmuseum, Stockholm

Punk artist Vaginal Davis takes over Stockholm with queer art. At Moderna Museet, the solo exhibition "Magnificent product" is shown, and at Nationalmuseum, an installation about the wizards and witches in the land of Oz.
