The Helsingborg player received a 2+2 minute penalty for the incident in Sunday's match in SSL. On TV footage, it looked like Uutisalo swung at Enquist's head.
It looks brutally violent, but what people think happened didn't, Uutisalo said to the newspaper.
Enquist downplayed what happened.
He grabs quite a lot, but I get my hand in between and the club hits over the chest. If he had hit over the head, it would have been goodnight, he said and continued:
It was a mistake and he didn't mean any harm.
