Israel has captured a high-ranking person within Hezbollah, according to a source within the Israeli military.
Earlier on Saturday, Lebanese authorities announced that they are investigating whether Israel is behind the capture the day before of a Lebanese sea captain, who was taken away by a group of armed men from the beach near the city of Batroun in northern Lebanon.
The person has "been transferred to Israeli territory and is being interrogated right now", said the Israeli military source without mentioning the person's name.
Two sources within the Lebanese military confirm to the news agency AP that a marine corps unit arrived in Batroun, about three miles north of the capital Beirut, and took away a Lebanese citizen.
