Stefan Jansson becomes the new national team captain for the Swedish dressage team. This is written by the Equestrian Federation on its website.
"It's going to be incredibly exciting. I'm looking forward to the collaboration and development work with riders and horses. Dressage is an incredibly beautiful and fun sport, and I'm very optimistic about the future for Swedish dressage", says Jansson.
The 59-year-old from Kungälv is an A-trainer in dressage, and has himself trained several horses from young horses to grand prix. He has participated in the Young Horse World Championship, taken placings in international grand prix, and has been part of the national team's challenger squad during the year.
Jansson takes up his position on January 1.
