The scoring and shooting king of the Championship playoffs, Jere Innala, is leaving Frölunda.
The Finnish World Championship forward has signed a one-year contract with Colorado in the NHL.
"It's tough to get this news now. Jere has been an important player for us, but that's how the system works and now we have to find a replacement", says Frölunda's sports manager Fredrik Sjöström in a press release.
Innala, who scored eleven goals and 15 points in the playoffs, had two years left on his contract with Frölunda.
The Gothenburg club has now lost its two best point scorers from the Championship playoffs, where the team was eliminated in the semi-finals, as Malte Strömwall also chose to move to Switzerland.
