Two school-age children are seriously injured after a collision between two cars outside Eslöv on Saturday morning, according to Region Skåne.
The accident occurred on Highway 17 just north of Eslöv and a total of four people were taken to hospital by ambulance.
They were then awake and able to talk, says police spokesperson Fredrik Bratt.
Two men, one in his 50s and one in his 35s, are reported to have minor injuries.
The road is closed, but tow trucks have been ordered and as soon as the vehicles are removed, traffic can be reopened.
