A five-year-old girl is being treated for serious injuries after being hit by a car on Thursday evening, writes Nya Wermlands-Tidningen.
The accident occurred at a campsite on Hammarö outside Karlstad. The girl is said to have ended up under the car, and rescue services, police, and an ambulance helicopter were called to the scene.
She has suffered abdominal and chest injuries and her condition is serious. She is being treated in the ICU, a press spokesperson for Region Värmland told NWT on Friday.
