After meetings with the Czech Republic and Switzerland, Finland was next in Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic. The national team made their move in the second period and went into the third and final period with 6–1 in their favour.
"Now against Finland, I think we're playing a good match overall and getting our things together and our high pressure, where we win a lot of balls," says team captain Ida Sundberg in a press release.
Ellen Rasmussen and Emma Stenberg were successful up front. Rasmussen scored one goal and made three goal-scoring passes, Stenberg scored two goals and made two assists.
"It has been very good for our part. We have highs and lows during this tournament, but within the framework of the matches in general, our performance is great. I just told the girls that they are very good at converting the type of play we want to play and training on the details we train on. This weekend, it has fallen very well into place," says national team coach Linn Lundström.
