A man in his 50s was shot to death in Malmö early on Monday morning.

The man's family was at home when the fatal shooting occurred, reports P4 Malmöhus.

The impression I have is that the family was at home when it happened, says prosecutor Pär Andersson to the channel.

The police suspect that he was shot through a window and have not been able to rule out that it may be a case of mistaken identity.

The police are now investigating whether the teenager who is being held as a suspect was commissioned to carry out the murder.

We suspect that it is, but we don't know, says Andersson to P4 Malmöhus.
