Some of the cases where unidentified women have been found dead are tens of years old. In the oldest case, which can be found on Interpol's website, a dead girl or young woman estimated to be 13-20 years old was found in a parking lot in the Netherlands in October 1976.

Now, the hope is that public engagement and international cooperation will lead to the identification of the women.

Our goal is to identify the dead women and give families answers and ensure that the victims receive justice, says Interpol's Secretary-General Jürgen Stock.

A memory, a tip, or a shared story, the smallest detail can help reveal the truth.

Details about the cases have been published on the website, including photos of tattoos, clothing, jewelry, and images where they have tried to reconstruct the women's faces.

The effort includes cases from Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Germany.
