Russia has carried out a comprehensive drone attack over Ukraine during the night, according to the Ukrainian air force. The attack is said to have occurred just hours after Russia's President Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump held talks in Alaska about the war in Ukraine.
Among other things, at least 85 drones and one Iskander-M ballistic missile are said to have attacked Ukraine along the front line in four regions. 61 of the drones are said to have been shot down, according to the Ukrainian air force.
Russia's military reports on Saturday that they have captured two more villages in eastern Ukraine in the regions of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk. The information has not been confirmed by Ukraine.
