A new cyber attack has occurred in Norway. The same Russia-friendly group that in the spring remotely opened a dam says it is behind it, reports Aftenposten.

Norway's security police PST confirm that a new attack has taken place. Exactly what has happened is not clear, but the police compare it to the hacking of the Bremanger dam in the spring. The dam was opened so that the water flowed freely for four hours.

The same group claims to be behind it, says PST representative Per Niklas Hafsmoe to Aftenposten about the new attack.

The approach is similar, in the form that the current company has been exposed to data breach, whereupon the group posts a screenshot with the claim that they are behind it.

PST is now investigating the events.
